Final Fieldwork Report

The final fieldwork report is the comprehensive document that summarizes your entire fieldwork experience and is submitted to the BACB as part of your certification application. It aggregates all of your monthly summaries into a cumulative record showing your total hours, supervision hours, activity breakdown, and compliance status across every metric for every supervision period in your fieldwork.

This report is the culmination of months or years of fieldwork tracking. It must demonstrate that you met every requirement for your specific certification pathway: the total hour threshold, the supervision minimum percentage, the unrestricted hour ratio, and all per-period requirements throughout your fieldwork. Your qualified supervisor must attest to the accuracy of the report, and all required signatures must be in place before submission.

The quality of your final fieldwork report depends entirely on the quality of your ongoing documentation. If you maintained clean fieldwork logs and signed monthly summaries throughout your experience, assembling the final report is straightforward. If your records are incomplete, inconsistent, or unsigned, preparing the final report can become a stressful, time-consuming process that delays your certification application. This is one of the strongest arguments for using a dedicated tracking system rather than manual spreadsheets — automated reports are only as good as the underlying data, but they eliminate the assembly step entirely.
