What's new in ABA Fieldwork Tracker

We are always improving ABA Fieldwork Tracker. Here is a running, plain-language record of what we have shipped, and every update is free, like everything else.

v2.2 Update

Imported months are now first-class

The months you brought in from before ABA Fieldwork Tracker now work like every month you log here. They carry a real compliance verdict from the same engine, they hold observation time, and they produce a full monthly report. Your history before ABA FT now reads exactly like your history inside it.

  • New Observation time on Import Hours. On the 2027 pathway you can now enter each month's observation time alongside its contacts and observations. It appears on the imported months table and on that month's dashboard, and it counts toward the observation requirement exactly like a month you logged here.
  • New Imported months now receive a real compliance verdict, computed by the same engine that reads your logged months, and they count toward Compliant Workplace-Months on your Progress page and Overall report in both directions.
  • Improved A monthly report for an imported month is now the full report: its real totals, the hour breakdown, and the complete BACB® compliance checklist, with a note recording the date you imported it.
  • Improved Supervisors and trainees see one shared picture. The roster month card and the read-only view of a trainee's dashboard both show imported months, their totals, the Imported History table, and the same verdict the trainee sees.
  • Improved Your verdict is now computed rather than self-declared, so the attested-compliant checkbox has retired from Import Hours. Anything you attested before stays stored on your record, and your signed M-FVFs remain the official documentation for imported months.
  • Months you imported before this update read as 0 minutes of observation time until you open one and fill it in. Everything else, including each month's verdict and its report, updates on its own.
v2.1 Update

Supervisor Activity feed and Analytics

Supervising just got easier to see. A new Activity feed shows your trainees' hour entries as they happen, and a new Analytics page turns your whole caseload into clear numbers and trends. Both are live now for every supervisor account, free.

  • New The Activity feed. Every hour entry your trainees log appears as a card as it happens, with RBT® days grouped into one card per day. Recent activity shows right on your supervisor dashboard, and the full feed lives on the new Activity page, filterable by trainee.
  • New Nothing disappears silently. Edits show each changed value with the old value struck out next to the new one, and deleted entries stay in the feed, struck through in red.
  • New The Analytics page. Trainees, Hour Entries, Hours Logged, and Time Logged at a glance across everyone you supervise, plus trend charts for trainees logging in, hour entries, and hours logged, split by logged versus imported.
  • New Analytics reads the way you plan. Toggle between Day, Week, and Month views, with dates labeled by day of the week, and every figure computed from one set of definitions so the numbers always agree.
  • Improved Feed paging is built for real fieldwork rhythms. When several entries share the same instant, like an imported month or a full RBT day saved at once, the feed pages cleanly and every entry is always reachable.
v2.0 Update

RBT ongoing supervision: a whole new way to track

RBTs can now track their ongoing supervision, right alongside the BCBA® and BCaBA® fieldwork tracking ABA Fieldwork Tracker has always done. A new RBT dashboard, a rebuilt supervisor experience, and onboarding that fits both audiences.

  • New RBTs can now track their ongoing supervision. Log your day with sessions, supervised sessions, and supervision contacts, each with its own notes.
  • New A new RBT dashboard shows your monthly requirements at a glance, per workplace: 5 percent supervision of your service hours, two contacts (at least one one-on-one), and one live observation.
  • New Rest months are handled automatically. A month with no service hours owes no supervision that month.
  • New Monthly Supervision Records that you and your supervisor sign and counter-sign in the app.
  • New Import your past months, and export your supervision history to CSV.
  • New Tracking both RBT supervision and fieldwork? A workspace switcher moves you between the two, with everything scoped to the workspace you are in.
  • Improved A rebuilt supervisor dashboard. Each supervisee is a full card showing the current month, with a clear On track or Needs attention read for each track, plus sort, filter, and disconnect.
  • New A signing queue front and center for every form awaiting your signature.
  • New View-as with a track switch, so you can see either side of a supervisee who tracks both.
  • New A new Signed Forms page keeps everything you have signed, still viewable after you archive or disconnect a supervisee.
  • Improved Onboarding now fits both audiences. Choose what you are tracking at setup (RBT supervision, fieldwork, or both), with a welcome tour tailored to your choice.
  • Improved The updated 2027 fieldwork standards are now the default for new accounts.
  • Improved The User Guide and Help Center now cover RBT tracking end to end.
  • For existing users: nothing changes. All of your prior fieldwork data reads exactly as before, and your account keeps tracking fieldwork just as it always has.
v1.3 Update

Report options and a better report experience

Choose what goes into your monthly reports, and generate them from one consistent Report button that works just as well on your phone.

  • New Include notes in your monthly reports. The Report window now has two options: include your hour entry notes, and include your supervision activity summaries. Both are off by default, and each prints in its own row directly under the hour entry, so your default reports stay exactly as they were.
  • Improved One Report button, everywhere. The Dashboard and Progress pages share the same Report button, which opens a mobile-friendly window to pick Open in New Tab, Save as PDF, or Print. No more dropdown falling off the screen on phones.
  • Improved Reports opened in a new tab now show the app icon and a real title (like "June 2026 Report"), with a loading indicator while your PDF is prepared.
  • Fixed On mobile, the Monthly Breakdown's Total row on the Progress page now displays as a full-width card with a label for every value.
  • Fixed Supervisors: the Report button while viewing a trainee's dashboard now correctly generates that trainee's monthly report.
v1.2 Update

Export Hours

Download your fieldwork as a CSV through a simple, no-surprises flow. Your official record always stays in ABA Fieldwork Tracker and your verified reports; a CSV is just an unofficial copy for your own files.

  • New Export Hours: a new tool that lets you download all of your logged hours, or a single month, as a CSV (and pick one organization when a month spans several).
  • New Supervisors can export a connected trainee's hours the same way, right from that trainee's entry in their dashboard.
v1.1 Update

Refreshed sign-in pages and a smoother experience on your phone

The first feature release since launch: polished sign-in and account pages, big mobile improvements, and more reliable reports.

  • Improved Refreshed the login, registration, and contact pages with a cleaner two-column design, subtle motion, a more prominent button to create your free account, and a founding-member badge. The forgot-password and reset-password pages now match the same look.
  • Improved The Log Hours form is much easier to use on phones: the date field no longer runs off the edge of the screen, tapping a field no longer zooms the page, and the hour fields bring up the numeric keypad.
  • Improved Navigation now matches your light or dark theme consistently on phone and desktop, with hover text that is always readable.
  • Improved The Hours page now defaults to the current month instead of starting empty.
  • Fixed Monthly and overall PDF reports now generate reliably.
  • Fixed Visibility glitches where some links and buttons disappeared on hover, and where the logo did not show on mobile.
